Request an FRP Grating Quote
Start with contact details and a description of what the grating is for. Sizes, quantity and destination help; engineering values you do not have yet can be confirmed together.
Minimum input
The Minimum an FRP Grating Inquiry Needs
These four items are enough for us to start work on the requirement.
- A contact you can be reached on — Email is enough; a phone number or WhatsApp helps where the requirement needs a short conversation rather than a long exchange.
- What the grating is for — The application and where the panels are used — for example a walkway, a platform, a trench cover or a tree surround.
- Sizes and quantity, if known — Panel or cut sizes with quantities. A sketch or drawing can be attached instead of typing the list.
- Destination and date — Destination country or port, and the date the panels are needed, so production and shipping can be planned against it.
Optional detail
Additional FRP Grating Details That Improve the Quote
Add whichever of these you have; nothing here has to be complete.
- Operating environment — Chemicals with concentration, temperature, salt or chlorine exposure, UV exposure and how the area is cleaned.
- Support and load — How the panels are supported, the clear span, the load type and value, and any deflection limit.
- Structure and mesh — Molded, pultruded or mini mesh, with thickness or bar section and mesh where these have been decided.
- Resin and surface — Resin direction if specified, and the walking surface or functional requirement.
- Fixings and fabrication — Clip type and quantity, openings, edge sealing, and whether cutting is to be done at the factory.
- Color and finish — Standard color or a custom reference, and whether a sample is needed before ordering.
- Documents — Any test report, certificate or data sheet the project requires, and the stage at which it is needed.
- Packing and marking — Packing requirements, pallet or crate preference, and any label or packing list format required.
What happens next
From Your Inquiry to a Shipped FRP Grating Order
Six steps, so you know what to expect and when we will come back to you.
Your message reaches the factory, and the configuration, sizes and open values are identified.
If a value is needed before a price can be given, we ask for it — usually a support detail, a load or a cut list.
Structure, resin, surface, fixings and cut sizes are fixed in writing, including how openings are supported.
The quotation lists configuration, area basis, fixings, packing, trade terms, payment and production terms.
Production starts when the deposit arrives and normally completes within 15 to 30 calendar days.
The documents for the order are prepared, and shipping is arranged on the agreed trade terms.
Response
What You Send and What Comes Back
What we return at each stage of the inquiry.
| What you send | What we return | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Application and approximate area | Indicative configuration and the questions that remain | Once the requirement has been read |
| Cut list or drawing | Checked cut list, area basis and quotation | Once the configuration is agreed |
| Environment details | Resin direction shortlist and the documents that apply | Alongside the quotation |
| Document request | Confirmation of what the factory can issue, and what has to be arranged | Before production where possible |
| Confirmed order and deposit | Production slot and progress against the agreed dates | From the date the deposit arrives |

What Makes a Requirement Easy to Quote
An inquiry that can be answered quickly usually has three things: the application, the sizes and the environment. The application tells us which product types are realistic. The sizes — or a drawing — tell us whether the order is full panels or cut-to-size, which changes the price basis. The environment tells us whether an ordinary polyester is sensible or whether a vinyl ester, epoxy or phenolic direction has to be discussed.
Conversely, the inquiry that takes longest is the one with a configuration but no context: a thickness and mesh with no support layout and no environment. We can quote it, but the quotation will be full of assumptions, and assumptions are what cause changes after the order is placed. Two or three sentences about where the panels go and what happens around them usually removes the ambiguity.
About Drawings and Cut Lists
If panels are to be cut, the cut list is the document that matters. Write each size with its quantity, state the units, and mark the drawing revision. Where there are openings, mark the datum, each hole position, the hole size and which bars may be cut — an opening that interrupts a bearing bar is supported differently from one that does not.
For pultruded panels, mark the bearing-bar direction on the drawing. A panel rotated so that the bars run along the span is a different structure from the one that was selected, even though the panel dimensions are identical.
After the Inquiry
Your message goes to the factory inbox and produces a confirmation page. If you do not hear back, or the confirmation page does not appear, email the address shown in the footer — that way a requirement never disappears because of a form problem, and the direct email channel is the one we test at that moment rather than the one we assume works.
